Dear Parents and Guardians of Newly Enrolled Students,

Please see the message below from our Director of Operations John Neill requesting families to complete a short survey regarding transportation for the coming school year. We recognize that some of you are moving from out of the area and may not have finalized where you will be living. If that is the case, don't worry, simply send an email to transportation@countryschool.net letting them know your situation once it's settled.

To complete the form you will need to log into myNCCS and click the yellow bar to begin.

If you have any questions about the form or the Community Transportation program, please contact John at transportation@countryschool.net.

Dear Country School Families,

Every year the Community Transportation Office reviews, and adjusts where needed, the bus routes from the previous year for our students. In order to do this, including establishing routes and their timing, we would like to gain a better understanding of your transportation plans as you anticipate them.

Please log in to the website to complete and submit your form by Thurs., June 8 so that we may have the most up-to-date information for each student’s transportation plans for next school year. While we will build our bus routes based on the information you provide via this survey, we do recognize that a few of you may still be in transition because of a pending move, or that there may even be an unexpected change ahead; in either case, please just let us know immediately.

Early Childhood parents, please consider these options:

  • Beginners 3/4 children are not eligible for the bus. However, if they have older siblings (in grades 1-9) enrolled at NCCS, their family is charged only 50% of the cost for their older children if they choose to drive all of their children in the AM. A half charge is the minimum charge allowed for students in Grade 1 and above with younger siblings in Beginners 3/4.
  • Beginners 4/5 may participate in our transportation program; you may choose to have your child(ren) ride just in the AM, just in the PM, both AM and PM, or not at all (in which case you will not be charged). Your charge will be prorated accordingly.
  • Kindergarteners may participate in our transportation; you may choose to have your children ride just in the AM, just in the PM, or both AM and PM. If a family chooses to have its Kindergartner take the bus, the price does not change – there is no prorating in relation to taking the bus one or both ways.
This communication is going to all families; if you live outside of our transportation area, please check “Not Applicable” on the survey.

As you prepare to complete this survey, please remember that the NCCS Community Transportation program is a required additional fee for all families of students in Grade 1-9 living within our busing areas. That said, riding the bus is not required. We are aware that a few families, while paying for the service, choose not to use our transportation program, which is why we are asking about your plans so that we may adjust routes and schedules accordingly.

Thanks for your assistance, and if you have any questions, please contact us by email at transportation@countryschool.net.
